I have a boyfriend. We spend all of our time together. We are totally in love. People are jealous. We get along like a house on fire.
The strange thing is… I was his girlfriend for 2 years, from 1999-2001. When I first moved to DC, I met him almost immediately at a club. I had this guy on my ass and I wanted to get rid of him so I saw this other cute guy with glasses on… and we ended up dating for 2 years! We broke up on bad terms and it basically was due to circumstances. I was young 24 years old and still needed to party. I also had a bad job and too much stress. I needed to go through it alone and in my own time. Now 5 years later on, after we broke up… we see each other again! I had lived less than a mile away from him and never once ran into him–NOT ONCE.
One unseasonably warm day in January, I see him at Dupont Circle and it piques an interest for both of us. We find each other on myspace and try to see if we can be friends. We are not only SO very good as friends but the chemistry is totally there with a passion.
Long story short, after reconnecting, we’ve been nearly inseparable and we’re planning a trip to Rome for my 30th birthday!
Life is funny and GOOD!

cheers to that!!! the rewards of free-falling and taking the big leap to the unknown can be very exciting… my wife and i just did that 7 years ago…we both took the leap, left the big city and travelled around the Philippines…got married after 2months and never been so happy with our lives after that leap. we frequently travel with our two wonderful daughters! once again, good luck and happy landing!
