Hurricane relief…

20,000 of the poorest people in Louisiana are digging through trash for food, wet, tired, and desperate for help. Donate! If you can afford to give 25, 50 bucks or more then please do: http://www.blackamericaweb.com/relief/

The BlackAmericaWeb.com Relief Fund is providing support to families who are assisting those displaced by Hurricane Katrina. These funds raised by the BlackAmericaWeb.com Relief Fund will go to individual families who have opened their homes to families displaced by Hurricane Katrina, to supplement their personal households as the recovery efforts continue.

*ps* Bush says, "don’t buy gas if you don’t need it" what a stupid ass. DON’T DRIVE IF YOU DON’T HAVE TO! what an asshole.

    Thanks for posting that site.

I am tired of the media portraying the looters as savages. They are not all walking out of stores with plasma TV’s. Most victims are taking food, medical supplies, and clothing. I find nothing wrong with that since relief efforts are moving slowly. The citizens are trying to survive and I’d rob a flooded 7-11 of some bagels also, if it meant not starving to death.

It’s sad that Bush can deploy one hundred thousand troops to the Mid East to search for invisible WMD’s within 10 days. But only a few national guard troops are sent to Louisiana to rescue people off of rooftops. Most of the national guard there are focusing on looters and that’s just stupid. Forget about the plasma tv’s and help the stranded. Hopefully donations to organizations like Fema and Baw will help things move quicker because our government isn’t doing much
